Hip Dysplasia Scheme
The main purposes of the scheme are the examination of radiographs of hips of dogs for hip dysplasia and the issue of a certificate in respect of that examination.

NB Once a certificate of HD scoring has been issed for a dog, the dog may not be resubmitted for scoring under the Scheme.

Publication of results
The Kennel Club, as the regulating body for all pedigree dogs in the UK, publish hip and elbow dysplasia and eye examination results and add the result to the dog's pedigree record, as well as to the records of any progeny of the dog.
